Creating Panoramas

In the second unit of my photography course I was given the exam brief of 'multiple images'. This meant that I had to create whole new images using a number of other combined together. I experimented with a number of different ways of doing this such as creating collages and one method I used was creating long panoramic images. Firstly I used a tripod and a fast shutter speed on my camera to take a large number of images. While pressing the shutter I rotated the camera on the tripod so that the whole 360 degree scene was captured. This gave the effect that the camera was capturing what you would see if you were stood in the same spot and turned around in a circle. To create the long images I placed all the images together in Photoshop  The process was time consuming as it took a long time to accurately line up the images but I think the finished results look really good and I really enjoyed experimenting with this method of combining images.
